It’s just two weeks until the DFW Hospital Council’s (DFWHC) 74th Annual Awards Luncheon on October 21 at the Irving Convention Center, our first in-person event since 2019.

This year’s recipients include:

• Distinguished Health Service Award, Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson;
• Young Healthcare Executive of the Year, Patrick Brown, VP Operations, Methodist Charlton;
• Kerney Laday, Sr. Trustee of the Year, Dorothy DeBose, chair of the board at JPS Health Network.

Jessica Long, one of America’s most decorated Paralympic champions, will serve as keynote speaker.

John Liddle, who serves as a news anchor at NewsRadio KRLD 1080 AM, will perform this year’s National Anthem to open the event.

Platinum Sponsors include Hall Render and Forvis. Medical City Healthcare, Texas Health and UT Southwestern will serve as the Hospital Platinum Sponsors.
