There’s still time to register for “Continuum of Care for the Patient: EMTALA & Discharge Planning,” taking place on Monday, March 21 at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. The DFW Hospital Council is coordinating this educational session at the request of Parkland Health and Hospital System and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The event begins at 10:00 a.m. and attendance is complimentary. Parkland leaders, CMS and the Texas Department of State Health Services will present the program to include a panel discussion. The target audience is hospital, emergency department and care management leadership.
