Hosted by The University of Texas at Arlington (UT Arlington) College of Nursing and Health Innovation, the 15th Annual Dream Makers Scholarship Luncheon was held today in the Bluebonnet Ballroom on campus. More than 200 attendees turned out to honor donors whose gifts support some of the nation’s most promising healthcare students.

W. Stephen Love, president/CEO of the DFW Hospital Council, served as Master of Ceremonies while Mark Haykowsky, Moritz Chair of Geriatric Nursing Research, was the keynote speaker. UT Arlington President Dr. Vistasp Karbhair detailed the success of the program with healthcare students Steven Boyton and Kendra Stephan providing personal remarks on the value of the scholarships.

The 2015-2016 Platinum donors to the program included the David E. Bloxom Sr. Foundation; Patrick and Joyce Wyers; Connie Flores; Dr. Ceil Flores and Samuel R. Flores; Dr. Robert S. Gillespie; and Dr. Marygrace Hernandez-Leveille Laerdal.
