In response to a proposed bill by State Rep. Drew Springer to eliminate gun-free zones in the state to possibly include North Texas hospitals, DFW Hospital Council President/CEO W. Stephen Love commented on the controversial issue for a KERA report yesterday.

Springer said it makes no sense that he can take his gun into the Capitol building but has to leave it in the glove compartment before walking into the ER.
