In advance of the June 4 webinar “Virtual Hospital Today” hosted with the DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC), VitalTech announced today it will offer 90 days of free telehealth services in an effort to help fight the spread of COVID-19.
The “DFWHC – VitalTech Give-Back” program provides 90 days of free access to VitalTech’s platform to all DFWHC members, thereby helping healthcare providers better serve patient populations in North Texas. Physicians can connect online with patients through the HIPAA-secure VitalCare® platform to video chat, call or message. Additionally, physicians can remotely triage care and monitor patients’ self-reported vitals, nutrition and medication intake.
“We are grateful to VitalTech for partnering with DFWHC to offer members free access to their platform,” said Stephen Love, president/CEO of DFWHC. “It is helping our healthcare providers better serve their patient populations. The technology available with the VitalCare platform helps increase the safety of patients and care teams by decreasing the risk of exposure for vulnerable populations.”
The complimentary webinar next Thursday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., CDT, will detail the VitalTech device that enables health systems, nursing facilities, home health providers, physicians and senior living facilities to streamline workflows while improving outcomes, patient safety and cost.
“By integrating VitalTech’s robust care model with local hospital systems, we can offer cutting-edge digital solutions across the care continuum, to ensure care providers and patients are equipped every step of the way,” said Ernie Ianace, EVP/Co-founder of VitalTech.
VitalTech’s Virtual Hospital of the Future focuses on extending the capabilities of the hospital and its providers, especially in this time of health crisis and social distancing. VitalTech provides the biometric wearables, hardware, software and advanced cloud-based portal to help hospitals transition several of their services to the virtual realm.
