Below is a letter from Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council partner ELEVATE340B to Hospital Members.
Dear DFWHC Member,
ELEVATE340B partnered with the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council earlier this summer and as a result of that partnership, we’d like to formally introduce our firm and our service.
ELEVATE340B was founded with pharmacists and 340B coordinators in mind. Over the course of hundreds of compliance audits conducted, we were continually finding that 340B covered entities were facing challenges controlling WAC, GPO and Orphan drug spending. We learned that the 340B resources covered entities have are dedicated primarily to compliance and maintenance of their 340B program. Our mission is to take our knowledge and experiences as former pharmacy managers and 340B program directors and share them with 340B covered entities to optimize their drug purchases in a compliant manner.
ELEVATE340B is a joint venture between Southwest Consulting Associates and Turnkey Pharmacy Solutions and is headquartered in Plano, TX. We offer consulting services for covered entities currently participating in the 340B program with a pricing structure that doesn’t burden you with budget heavy fees, but instead, incentivizes success under a contingency-based structure because there are no upfront costs. Our service reviews historical purchases, accumulations, and medical record data in order to identify savings opportunities the covered entity is legally entitled to, but is currently missing. The covered entity implements our detailed corrective action plan and begins to realize the additional savings on a go-forward basis.
Most ELEVATE340B clients are performing some type of optimization reviews and have monitoring protocols in place. However, the ever changing and complex nature of the 340B program in addition to staff’s limited time and resources makes it difficult to identify all problem areas. Our role is to be an additional tool in your 340B toolbox. We act as another set of eyes monitoring your program. Our goal throughout your engagement is to work in the background, out of sight, until a savings opportunity arises, so you can focus on compliance, maintenance and most importantly, patient care.
In conjunction with the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council, we hosted an educational event covering:
● The 340B program overview & political landscape;
● Review of FFY 2016 and YTD FFY 2017 HRSA audits results;
● Importance of compliance;
● Introduction to the ELEVATE340B service;
● Optimization case studies.
A copy of the replay can be viewed HERE. Also included is a link HERE to a 1-page document that summarizes the features and benefits of the ELEVATE340B service.
We hope you will consider us as an additional resource for your 340B program. Our client relations manager, Jeff Norman, will be working to reach out to meet you in-person or set up a call to learn more about your organization and to answer any questions you may have. In the meantime, learn more about us at www.elevate340b.com.
Sincerely,
Michael G. Newell
