Heart Month and discussion on Medicaid 1115 to highlight Sunday’s “Human Side of Health Care”

With February being American Heart Month, a prominent cardiologist will be a guest on Sunday’s edition of the DFW Hospital Council’s weekly radio program “The Human Side of Health Care.” There will also be a detailed discussion between three separate speakers on the Medicaid 1115 Waiver. The broadcast will air on KRLD 1080 AM at 1:00 p.m.
Guest stars include:
• Dr. Ben Levine, cardiologist at UT Southwestern and Texas Health Resources;
• Charles Smith, former executive commissioner of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission;
• Richard Carter, President/CEO of Hunt Regional Medical Center;
• and Texas Senator Nathan Johnson.
The radio program runs throughout 2020 on Sunday’s from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. CST.
