We can’t think of a better way to spend the hot summer months than to attend the DFW Hospital Council’s (DFWHC) first-ever “Hot Topic Healthcare Educational Series.” Simply put, four complimentary breakfast events from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. hosted in association with the national experts of DFWHC Year-Round Sponsor Hall Render.

The topics were approved by DFWHC President/CEO W. Stephen Love.

“We are always trying to provide education to our hospital members on important topics in healthcare,” said Love. “We’re looking forward to presenting this series to our membership. These events will provide interesting discussions and should be a great opportunity for all of our hospitals.”

The series will include:

• July 26, “Foreign Physician Recruitment and Green Card Options for Foreign Healthcare Employees,” 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children;

• August 16, “Bullying & Workplace Harassment and Discipline & Discharge,” 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children;

• August 31, “False Claims Act Litigation and Internal Investigation Matters,” 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children;

• September 20, “Timeshare Arrangements for Visiting Physicians,” 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., Las Colinas Country Club.
