The DFW Hospital Council’s (DFWHC) “Growing Little Minds” campaign has gone gold or, more accurately, was awarded a Gold and Merit award by the Healthcare Marketing Report on May 15.

“Growing Little Minds” was created in 2016 by DFWHC in partnership with the City of Dallas to raise awareness on the importance of infant brain development during the first 12 months of a child’s life. The program was the brainchild of Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings who wanted to inspire and educate new parents in North Texas.

A video, website and social media campaign was created by DFWHC and Agency Creative and can be found at www.growinglittleminds.com.

The campaign received a Gold Award for Social Media and a Merit Award for Total Advertising without TV.

The Healthcare Marketing Report is a part of the HMR Publications Group headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. The group provides sources for news in higher education and healthcare. Additional publications include the Admissions Marketing Report and Healthcare Call Center Times.

“Growing Little Minds” has continued in 2017 under the guidance of Children’s Health, Cook Children’s Health Care, Medical City Children’s Hospital and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. To date, the campaign has had 43 million Media/PR impressions, reaching more than 300,000 people with more than 50,000 social media subscribers.
