We hope everyone has been able to stay safe during this trying year. Yes, the COVID-19 pandemic has challenged our society. But during this difficult time, we have witnessed first-hand our hospital healthcare heroes rising to the occasion. We have never been prouder to work with our hospital employees and leaders.
Unfortunately, we had to cancel the in-person Annual Awards Luncheon this year due to safety reasons. But per the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council’s Board of Trustees, we believe it is our duty to honor this year’s dedicated friends of healthcare. And so, a tradition that has taken place in North Texas for over 70 years will continue virtually.
This year, we will honor recipients for the Distinguished Health Service Award, the Young Healthcare Executive of the Year Award and the Kerney Laday, Sr. Trustee of the Year Award. Our Board of Directors is judging the nominees at this very moment, with recipients to be announced on October 5, 2020. We will acknowledge these healthcare heroes with a video to be posted online October 21, 2020. The video will be themed, “Not All Heroes Wear Capes…,” with a detailed career tribute to the recipients.
Discounted sponsorship opportunities are available. Whether you would like to share your support of our dedicated hospitals or simply an opportunity for prime exposure, we have created this package for you. Ad and logo space will be available within the video, which will be distributed to our hospital members and across North Texas.
Please note, in honor of the tremendous work of our hospital members, we decided to make their sponsorships complimentary this year. All hospitals and hospital systems in the region will be participating.
Join us in celebrating these healthcare heroes inspired by the belief that better health makes a better community. We appreciate your consideration.
