The Dallas Morning News posted a great editorial this morning praising the “Books for Dallas Babies” program recently kicked off at Parkland Health & Hospital System. The program will send every baby born at Parkland home with a free book, putting into action words experts have preached for years: Reading to children early is the best way to develop their brains and prepare them for school.
