In a post today in D Healthcare Daily, a new report released by The Commonwealth Fund detailed how evidence is building that the reluctance of Texas lawmakers to expand Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act has “left behind millions of low-income Texans.”

Released Thursday afternoon, the report delves into the impact of the state not expanding Medicaid or attempting to agree upon an alternative. As noted in the article penned by Matt Goodman, the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council (DFWHC) has been an outspoken supporter of a Medicaid expansion alternative, as is the Texas Hospital Association and the Texas Medical Association.
