DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) President/CEO Stephen Love served as a panelist during the U.S. India Chamber of Commerce’s “Wellness and Workplace Conference” last Friday, September 23 at the Renaissance Dallas Addison Hotel.

Love joined James Springfield, president of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas; and Dr. Sylvia Trent Adams, executive vice president and chief strategy officer at the University of North Texas Health Science Center as they discussed “Market Dynamics Shaping the Future of Healthcare.”

U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy served as keynote speaker of the event. An additional panel discussion, “Mental Health and Society,” included Dr. Madhukar Trivedi, a distinguished chair in mental health at UT Southwestern; Brent Christopher, president of the Children’s Health Foundation; and Kenneth Hersh, president/CEO of the George W. Bush Presidential Center.
