Healthcare workforce demands are poised to explode over the next decade. With this in mind, the DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) and Mercer/Oliver Wyman have joined forces to host the August 9 educational event “The Workforce Redefined: Challenging our thinking in the wake of Data, Tech and AI.” The complimentary breakfast seminar is from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas.
Christopher Schrader, a principal of health services at Oliver Wyman and Matthew Stevenson, a partner at Mercer, will serve as keynote speakers. W. Stephen Love, president/CEO of DFWHC, will host the event and provide introductions.
With the continued rise of technology, digitization and AI expected to play a role in addressing the workforce gap, the preparation for an agile, future-ready workforce starts now. The types of employees needed to take care of an older and more complex patient population will differ by state and even by town. One thing is clear — everyone will need access to a different type of workforce than is in place today.
You can register for the event here.
