An audience of 40-plus attendees turned out for this morning’s DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) and Konica Minolta educational event “Cybersecurity and Compliance: Navigating the Landscape” at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas.
Navin Balakrishnaraja, CPHIMS, CHP, a director of healthcare IT services at All Covered, served as the keynote speaker for the complimentary session.
Navin discussed cybersecurity strategies, potential threats, ransomware and medjacking during the hour-long event.
DFWHC’s educational “hot topic” sessions will continue Wednesday, May 23 when co-host Gerber will present a Leadership Conference detailing the “Economic Burden of Allergies & Positive Patient Outcomes” from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
