Business Council for the Arts to discuss “Arts and Healthcare”

The Business Council for the Arts of North Texas will be hosting the breakfast event “Arts and Healthcare” on Wednesday, June 6 at the Belo Mansion in Dallas from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Pamela J. Stoyanoff, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Methodist Health System and a board member of the DFW Hospital Council Foundation, will serve as moderator of a panel including J. Todd Frazier, director of the System Center for Performing Arts Medicine at Houston Methodist; John F. Harper, MD, Ewton Chair for Cardiology at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas; and Upali Nanda, vice president and director of research at HKS Inc.

The seminar will examine how the arts could be advancing healthcare and wellness. The panelists will address new research and current initiatives on the impacts of music, visual art and design. The breakfast event will serve as a unique opportunity to bring together the local arts community and the healthcare industry.
