DFWHC and Konica Minolta webinar “Cybersecurity Awareness” has been posted online

01/23/2026

The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC), Konica Minolta and All Covered webinar “Cybersecurity Awareness: Think like and Attacker” originally broadcast on January 22 has been posted online.

Speakers included Jake Reynolds, Offensive Securities Services Director at Depth Security; and Stephen Love, President/CEO of DFWHC.

During the session, the speakers walked through how real-world adversaries identify weaknesses, gain initial access, escalate privileges, and ultimately compromise critical systems. Instead of high-level theory, the webinar focused on the exact tactics, techniques, and misconfigurations that have been exploited during past healthcare penetration tests, red team operations, and adversary emulation engagements. The speakers walked behind the scenes of actual engagements to demonstrate how attackers think and how they break in.

Goals of the session included:

    • A clearer understanding of where your security posture might fall short;
    • Tactical steps you can take to improve defenses immediately;
    • Firsthand examples of how attackers think, how they choose targets, and how they chain vulnerabilities together to gain control of environments;
    • Real stories from past healthcare assessments, and clear insights into how these techniques can be prevented in your own environment.
