The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) and Argos Health will host the complimentary educational webinar “Out-of-State Medicaid Claims” on Tuesday, March 3 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. CST. This “hot topic” webinar will detail the problems (or opportunities?) such Medicaid claims present for hospitals.

An expert panel will include Kirby Yawn, senior vice president at Argos Health; and Dee Dee Germroth, senior vice president Medicaid solutions at Argos Health. DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love will provide the introductions and coordinate the Q&A.

Topics will include:
• Federal trends on requirements;
• Facts about how big your system’s Out-of-State Medicaid problem may be;
• Claims do get paid, but the necessary investment on the provider’s side must take place;
• Certain claims in the revenue cycle make sense to outsource…is this one of them?
