The ACHE of North Texas will host its First Quarter Education Event on February 27 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Irving.
Two separate panels will highlight the evening session with 3.0 Face-to-Face credits (1.5 per panel) available.
First panel titled “Providing Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS)” will include Meredith Stegal, director of language services at Parkland Health & Hospital System; Robin Gordon, manager of language access services at Texas Health Resources; Ashleigh Kinney, director of patient experience at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children; and Melina Kolbeck, director of language access services at Children’s Health. Kyle Armstrong, president of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – McKinney, will serve as moderator.
The second panel will cover “Diversity & Inclusion” with Traci Lawler-Shortt, vice president and clinical operations specialist at SCP Health; Michelle Green-Ford, chief diversity officer at JPS Health Network; Chris Moreland, chief diversity officer a Vizient; and Guwan Jones, chief diversity officer at Baylor Scott & White Health. Victoria Sanders, senior vice president at USMD Health System – OptumCare, will moderate the discussion.
