Episode 12 of the DFW Hospital Council’s weekly radio program “The Human Side of Health Care” was broadcast Sunday on KRLD 1080 AM. Updates on the regional blood shortage and COVID-19 efforts were detailed during the program. Guests included:

• Dr. Merlyn Sayers, president/CEO at Carter BloodCare;
• Robert Walker, president/CEO at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children;
• and Dr. Madge Barnes, medical director at Texas Health Family Care.

DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love and KRLD’s Thomas Miller will also provide a COVID-19 update.

The radio program runs throughout 2020 on Sunday’s from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. CST.
