It was with great sadness the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council (DFWHC) learned of the death of Val Wilkie, Jr. over the holidays. Wilkie died Tuesday, Dec. 16, in Sunapee, N.H., at 91. Wilkie was the leader of the Sid W. Richardson Foundation from 1973 until his retirement in 2011. He was presented DFWHC’s Distinguished Health Service Award in 2010.
