Just 12 days until the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council’s 65th Annual Awards Luncheon, Oct. 24 at the Arlington Convention Center.

At this year’s event we will honor former Senator Florence Shapiro with the Distinguished Health Service Award. Jessica O’Neal of Methodist Dallas Medical Center will receive the Young Healthcare Executive of the Year Award. The inaugural presentation of the Kerney Laday, Sr. Trustee of the Year Award will be presented to his family in his honor. And finally, world famous historian and author Doris Kearns Goodwin will serve as keynote speaker.



Over the years, one of the event’s highlights is the introduction of the Chairs of the Board of Trustees of all DFWHC-member hospitals. These healthcare executive volunteers will be introduced and honored on stage. While these seats are complimentary, they will need to be reserved. Deadline for Chairs or a representative for your hospital is Thursday, Oct. 17.
