Nurses Lounge wants to hear from you – brief survey to assist with rollout of nurse networking website

03/05/2024

Nurses Lounge, a new Associate Member of the DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC), is conducting a survey to assist their team prior to the introduction of its nursing networking site to DFW hospitals. The brief survey is eight question long.

Nurses Lounge began as a direct mail magazine for DFW area nurses in 2002. In 2012, Nurses Lounge launched its website as an online professional network for nurses. Nurses Lounge was created to aggregate and connect the nursing professionals and stakeholders (schools, employers and associations) on a single platform. By doing so, they have been able to maximize the distribution of information to nurses while creating a marketplace with nurse-oriented services while saving hospitals potentially millions a year in staffing fees.

Nurse Lounge has partnered with the Texas Association of Deans and Directors of Professional Nursing Programs (TADDPNP), the Texas Organization of Baccalaureate and Graduate Nursing Education (TOBGNE), and the Texas Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (TOADN). Over 30 top Texas nursing schools are on the platform.

“After such amazing success with the nursing schools, we would like to invite the top-tier DFW area hospitals and health systems to join the Nurses Lounge,” said Tim Armes, founder and CEO of Nurses Lounge. “Nurses Lounge has been a proud supporter of the DFW nursing profession for 22 years and is now a new associate member of DFWHC. As a new member, we wanted to introduce ourselves and our services to hospital members.”
