Stan Morton is stepping down in his role at CEO of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton after more than 12 years. His last day will be December 31.

Morton was the top executive when the hospital made the ownership transition from Community Health Systems to Texas Health Resources in 2009.

Morton was active for several years with the DFW Hospital Council, serving as Chair in 2011.
