Eligibility

Class I (Voting): Hospitals within 50 miles of DFWHC’s headquarters in Irving, Texas. Voting privileges.

Class II (Non-Voting): Hospitals outside the 50-mile radius.
Non-voting status.

The Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council unites North Texas hospitals and industry leaders to advance quality healthcare in the region. With over 45 years of collaboration, the DFWHC is one of the leading hospital councils in the country and the only hospital council in Texas. Choose based on what you are:

1. Hospitals typically qualify for Hospital Membership.
2. Businesses/organizations that support or work with healthcare often align with Associate Membership.
3. Individuals (including students and independent professionals) who aren’t employed by an eligible hospital or organization can apply for Individual Membership.

DFWHC supports members through detailed communications, timely educational programs, issue notifications, collaborative efforts, strategic alliances, and advocacy with local and state governments.

Hospitals are eligible based on their distance from DFWHC headquarters: those within 50 miles qualify for Class I Regular Membership, and hospitals outside 50 miles qualify for Class II Membership.

Hospital Membership is for hospitals (eligibility based on distance from DFWHC HQ, with voting privileges for certain hospital member classes). Associate Membership is designed for businesses and organizations engaging with the hospital community.

Yes. Associate Members receive preferred pricing with GroupOne Background Screening and Employment Verification Services and are eligible to purchase GroupOne HR Surveys.

Associate Members can also receive benefits such as visibility in the North Texas healthcare community, complimentary DFWHC publications, invitations to DFWHC events and membership meetings, sponsorship opportunities, discounted advertising/sponsorships, and more.

Yes. Associate Members have opportunities to sponsor DFWHC meetings and webinars, including the option to feature the organization as a keynote speaker (where applicable).

The annual fee is $1,200, and membership is adjusted based on when you join during the year. For exact pro-rated pricing, apply or contact DFWHC for the current calculation. Associate Membership renewals made before the start of the calendar year receive a $200 discount.

Applications are submitted through DFWHC’s Membership Application page, where you select your membership type (Hospital, Associate, or Individual) and provide contact and organization information.
