Episode 15 of the second year of the DFW Hospital Council’s weekly radio program “The Human Side of Health Care” was broadcast on Sunday on KRLD 1080 AM. The show included a guest appearance by Dallas Mavericks’ owner Mark Cuban as he discussed his own healthcare issues when dealing with Atrial fibrillation. In addition, a local expert details the dangers of the COVID-19 variant that has recently arrived in North Texas.

Guests included:

• Mark Cuban, Owner, Dallas Mavericks NBA franchise;
• Dr. Leigh Hunter, Infectious Disease Specialist at Methodist Health System.

DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love and KRLD’s Thomas Miller provided a North Texas COVID-19 update.

The radio program runs throughout 2021 on Sunday’s from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. CDT.
