Healthcare Alliance to host Dec. 13 event on “Ransomware”

The DFW Alliance for Healthcare Excellence will host the educational lunch “How to Protect Your Business from Ransomware” on Dec. 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Microsoft Technology Center in Irving. Stephen Cracknell, president/CIO of US Medical IT, will serve as speaker.

With the dramatic increase in the number of healthcare businesses struggling with Ransomware and maintaining business continuity, this event will detail best practices to use in order to protect your business.

Topics will include:
• The principal risks facing technology dependent healthcare organizations today;
• The steps you can take today to protect your organization from the growing threats of Ransomware and data breach.


The Microsoft Technology Center is located at 7000 State Highway 161, Building LC1 in Irving. Parking is free.
