Hall Render, the nation’s largest health care-focused law firm, will serve as the top sponsor of the DFW Hospital Council’s (DFWHC) 68th Annual Awards Luncheon to be held tomorrow at the Arlington Convention Center. This year’s Annual Awards Luncheon is themed “Up for Debate: The Presidential Elections,” showcasing a lively discussion on the presidential candidates just days before the election.

Tucker Carlson of FOX News and Eugene Robinson of The Washington Post will provide their expertise. Lauren Silverman of KERA News will serve as moderator.

Margaret H. Jordan will be the 2016 recipient of the Distinguished Health Service Award. Clint Abernathy of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance will be honored as the Young Healthcare Executive of the Year and Levi Davis, the longtime board member of Methodist Health System, will receive the Kerney Laday, Sr. Trustee of the Year award.

In addition, there will be a special tribute to Joel Allison of Baylor Scott & White Health for his many years of service to North Texas. And finally, the chairs of the board of trustees of each member hospital will be introduced to begin the program.
