Episode 25 of the third year of the DFW Hospital Council’s (DFWHC) weekly radio program “The Human Side of Health Care” was broadcast on Sunday on KRLD 1080 AM. The discussion detailed diabetes in North Texas and the importance of chaplaincy programs at our hospitals.

Guests included:

Betsy Richter-Gifford, RN, Diabetes Care and Education Specialist at Texas Health Resources;
David Tesmer, Chief Community and Public Policy Officer for Texas Health Resources;
Reverend Elizabeth Watson-Martin, MDiv, VP, Faith & Spirituality Integration at Texas Health Resources.

DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love and KRLD’s Thomas Miller provided a North Texas COVID-19 update.

The radio program runs throughout 2022 on Sunday’s from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. CDT.
