Episode 28 of the third year of the DFW Hospital Council’s (DFWHC) weekly radio program “The Human Side of Health Care” was broadcast on Sunday on KRLD 1080 AM. The special holiday discussion detailed stroke awareness, elderly care, hospital staffing issues and childhood dental needs.

Guests included:

• Dr. Nikisha Kothari, Ophthalmologist and Retina Specialist at Texas Health Resources;
• Dr. Glenn Hardesty, Emergency Medicine Physician at Texas Health Presbyterian Plano;
• Dr. Robert Haley, Director of the Division of Epidemiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love and KRLD’s Thomas Miller provided a North Texas COVID-19 update.

The radio program runs throughout 2022 on Sunday’s from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. CDT.
