Episode 18 of the third year of the DFW Hospital Council’s weekly radio program “The Human Side of Health Care” was broadcast on Sunday on KRLD 1080 AM. The discussion detailed the community outreach of our North Texas hospitals and work in domestic violence intervention.

Guests included:

• Dr. Paul Whatley, Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Specialist at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton;
• Courtney Edwards, Doctor of Nursing Practice and Director of Trauma Community Outreach and BioTel EMS at the Rees-Jones Trauma Center at Parkland Health & Hospital System.

DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love and KRLD’s Thomas Miller provided a North Texas COVID-19 update.

The radio program runs throughout 2022 on Sunday’s from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. CDT.
