Episode 17 of the third year of the DFW Hospital Council’s weekly radio program “The Human Side of Health Care” was broadcast on Sunday on KRLD 1080 AM. The discussion detailed the community outreach of our North Texas hospitals and work in domestic violence intervention.

Guests included:

• Angela Morris, Senior Director, Community Relations at Parkland Health & Hospital System;
• Cindy Burnette, the SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners) Program Director at Texas Health Resources;
• Sheyla Camacho, Public Health Educator, Victim Intervention Program (VIP)/Rape Crisis Center at Parkland Health & Hospital System.

DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love and KRLD’s Thomas Miller provided a North Texas COVID-19 update.

The radio program runs throughout 2022 on Sunday’s from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. CDT.
