Guests from Children’s Health and Methodist discuss infant suffocation and heart disease on “Human Side of Health Care”

Episode 20 of the third year of the DFW Hospital Council’s weekly radio program “The Human Side of Health Care” was broadcast on Sunday on KRLD 1080 AM. The discussion detailed how to reduce the potential of infant suffocation and dietary habits that contribute to heart disease.

Guests included:

Dr. Marisa Abbe, Manager of Injury Prevention at Children’s Health;
Dr. Nasser Khan, Interventional Cardiologist and Medical Director of the Structural Heart Program at Methodist Dallas Medical Center.

DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love and KRLD’s Thomas Miller provided a North Texas COVID-19 update.

The radio program runs throughout 2022 on Sunday’s from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. CDT.
