The North Texas Cluster of The Links, Inc. is hosting a “Human Trafficking Awareness Conference” on January 11 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST at the University of North Texas Dallas Campus.

Speakers will include:
• Alan Schonborn from the office of Governor Abbott;
• Vicki Spriggs of Texas Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA);
• Chad Frymire of Dallas CASA;
• Raffinea Sanders of It’s Going To Be OK.

There will also be sessions detailing the signs of human trafficking, survivor testimonials and Texas laws.

The conference is an attempt to mobilize the community to assist in eradicating human trafficking by creating awareness and renewing efforts to protect and serve victims.
