The DFW Hospital Council Foundation’s Texas Quality Initiative (TQI) will host its annual conference on May 11 at the UT Southwestern Medical Center’s William P. Clements, Jr. University Hospital in Dallas.

The mission of the TQI is to improve the quality of care for cardiovascular surgery patients, merge robust and risk adjusted clinical data with administrative data and leverage this ability to provide long-term comparative, cost effectiveness and quality outcomes research.

This year’s meeting will be highlighted by a networking lunch with Dr. Jeff Rich, director of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The conference is from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with the lunch with Dr. Rich following from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
