Substance Abuse/Misuse Needs Assessment for North Texas

If you are interested in the scoop on North Texas substance abuse numbers covering 16 counties, then you don’t want to miss this DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) Foundation meeting on January 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas.

Titled “Substance Abuse/Misuse Needs Assessment for 16 North Texas Counties,” the event will include findings for Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Grayson, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Navarro, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell, Tarrant and Wise counties.

The meeting is hosted by the DFWHC Foundation’s Community Health Collaborative, a committee composed of more than 20 healthcare, business, educational and community organizations working in collaboration to interpret data and align efforts to improve the health of North Texas residents.

The goal of the event is to identify regional trends, investigate disparities and provide resources for stakeholders to make decisions to address substance abuse issues in the region.

This is a complimentary meeting and lunch will be provided.
