The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) Foundation and Genesis Women’s Shelter and Support will co-host the educational webinar “Healthcare and Intimate Partner Violence: A Part of the Solution” on Thursday, October 14 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., CDT.

Speakers will include Elizabeth Wheeler Test, senior director of strategy and operations at Genesis Shelter; Mary Ann Contreras, injury and violence prevention manager at JPS Health Network; and Jan Langbein, CEO of Genesis Shelter.

This complimentary webinar will detail the prevalence of patients experiencing intimate partner violence within healthcare settings; opportunities to identify and refer patients of intimate partner violence; and community referral resources for victims.
