The DFW Alliance for Healthcare Excellence will be hosting the educational event “Texas Health – Our Journey to Zero Harm” on August 8 at the Brookhaven Country Club in Farmers Branch from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Dr. Lynn Myers, a family physician serving the DFW area for over 20 years before becoming a vice president of coding, quality and education for the Texas Health Physicians Group, will serve as the keynote speaker.

Dr. Myers takes great pride in building and leading diverse interdepartmental teams to accomplish strategic initiatives in quality, safety, compliance and medical record documentation.

Cost is $25 for members and $40 for nonmembers. Registration deadline is August 1.
