The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ Office of Minority Health (CMS OMH) will host the webinar “Building COVID-19 Vaccine Confidence” on Thursday, May 13 from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, CDT.

Dr. LaShawn McIver, Director of CMS OMH, will share information on how to address vaccine hesitancy in the community. He will be joined by Dr. Peter Marks, Director of the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, who will give an overview of vaccine safety. This webinar will equip attendees to speak persuasively about the COVID-19 vaccine.

Following the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and share ideas related to vaccine confidence.
