AACPA and Parkland event “Mental Health Needs”

The Asian American Contractors and Professionals Association (AACPA) of Texas will be hosting the educational expo “Closing the Gap Between Mental Health Needs and Access to Care” on Tuesday, June 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Parkland Moody Outpatient Center Auditorium in Dallas.

The event will allow attendees to gain practical tools to identify mental health and substance use challenges and understand their impact on workplace performance, culture and community well-being.

Registration and networking will begin at 9:00 a.m. The event is complimentary and lunch will be provided.

Speakers will include Dr. Philip Huang, Director of Dallas County Health and Human Services, with topics to include “Community Solutions and Partnerships” and “Culture, Gender and Access Disparities.”
