DFW Hospital Council President/CEO Stephen Love discussed the dangers of the North Texas heat wave and how it pertains to local hospitals during an interview yesterday with David Rankin and Kristin Diaz on NewsRadio 1080 KRLD.

“Hospitals are always prepared for some kind of mass-casualty event. They are also prepared for a surge. I wouldn’t say there’s a surge, but certainly an increase with people coming in with heat-related illness,” Love said.
