As announced in November, the DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) rescheduled its Annual Awards Luncheon for Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015 at the Arlington Convention Center. The event was postponed due to the Ebola crisis in the metroplex. The luncheon has been combined with DFWHC’s Annual Social, with a reception beginning at 11:00 a.m. followed by the luncheon and awards from 12:00-1:30 p.m.

Invitations to DFWHC’s Social, which honors outgoing and past board members, will be mailed to VIPs this week. The event will also honor Dr. Wright Lassiter of the Dallas County Community College District with the Distinguished Health Service Award; Becky Tucker of Texas Health Resources as the Young Healthcare Executive of the Year; and Carole Young of Medical City Dallas Hospital as the Kerney Laday, Sr. Trustee of the Year.
