DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) President/CEO W. Stephen Love offered his comments for NBCDFW-TV this morning on the potential repeal of the Affordable Care Act. With Republican law makers holding strong to the “Repeal and Replace” message, Reporter Courtney Gilmore visited the DFWHC offices yesterday to discuss what such a stance could mean for North Texas healthcare.

“4.5 million Texans, approximately 27 percent, have some form of pre-existing condition that prior to the Affordable Care Act would either have no coverage or would have to pay an extremely high premium to have coverage,” said Love.
