The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) hosted its first Speed Networking Event of the year this morning at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. The complimentary breakfast session from 8:30-10:00 a.m. was attended by area healthcare employees from Baylor Scott & White Health, LifeCare Hospitals, the DFWHC Foundation, Acadian Ambulance, Best Receivables Management, MEDCO Construction and UT Southwestern Medical Center.
“The speed networking exercise was a great success today for our hospital and associate members,” said Steve Love, president/CEO of DFWHC. “This has evolved into an innovative way to provide value to our members. Our future plans are to include representatives from our member hospitals.”
In the coordinated sessions, after five minutes a bell rings and attendees move to the next chair to meet a new healthcare contact. Following the event, a list of attendees will be made available to all participants. A second Speed Networking Event is scheduled for May. Details will be forthcoming.
