It became official this morning. The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) Foundation’s 28th Annual Employee of the Year Luncheon has officially sold out! The event is set for next Tuesday, April 21 at the Hurst Conference Center.

Themed “Be Extraordinary!”, this year’s luncheon will honor 14 recipients from hospitals across North Texas. Judging was completed on March 24, with more than 160 nominees considered, the most in the event’s history. The winners will be a closely guarded secret and will be announced for the first time at the luncheon.

For over two decades, the DFWHC Foundation’s Employee of the Year Luncheon has honored more than 1,500 exceptional hospital employees. The luncheon is designed to be a memorable afternoon for hospitals and their nominees.

Awards include:

• Employee of the Year;
• Volunteer of the Year;
• System Employee of the Year;
• Physician of the Year;
• Preceptor of the Year;
• and the Rex McRae Scholarship.

The top sponsors for this year’s event will be Hall Render and Forvis Mazars.
