The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) and University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences webinar “Healthcare Workforce Shortage” originally broadcast on June 15 has been posted online.

The panel discussion included Dr. Ashley Meaux, Assistant Program Director and Associate Professor of MS-SLP Program at University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences; Dr. Keith McWilliams, Program Director, OTD Program-Dallas, Assistant Professor, OT Programs at the University of St. Augustine; Dr. Thomas Werner, Program Director, PT Programs-Dallas at the University of St. Augustine; and Stephen Love, President/CEO, DFW Hospital Council.

The webinar focused on North Texas workforce shortages, and how it relates to OT, PT, SLP and nursing. It highlighted ways to impact shortages by improving patient care and job satisfaction, in addition to the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences’ role in addressing the shortage
