The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) and Polsinelli live webinar “Data Analytics: How Prosecutors Use Billing Data and Why” originally broadcast on September 7 has been posted online.

Speakers included Adrienne Frazior, shareholder at Polsinelli; and Erin Thimmesch, an associate at Polsinelli.

This expert panel discussed the data analytics used by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to investigate billing irregularities and ultimately make referrals to the Department of Justice (DOJ). They also addressed investigative red flags and explored how referrals are made to the DOJ and how to respond to investigators.
