The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) and Hospital Pricing Specialists will co-host the complimentary webinar “Price Transparency is Changing—Again: Regulatory and Legislative Update for DFWHC Member Hospitals” on Wednesday, November 4 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., CDT.

Speakers will include Randi Brantner, MBA, Vice President of Operations at Hospital Pricing Specialists; and Stephen Love, President/CEO of DFWHC.

Hospital price transparency is entering a new phase. In addition to evolving CMS requirements and enforcement, proposed federal legislation—including the Patients Deserve Price Tags Act (S. 2355) and the Lower Costs, More Transparency Act (H.R. 5582)—could expand reporting obligations, increase updates and strengthen penalties. This webinar will review current price transparency requirements, enforcement trends and the status of federal legislation. Attendees will learn how the changes could affect hospitals, which requirements may demand the greatest operational effort, and what hospital leaders should begin doing now to prepare their data, systems and compliance processes.
