More than 40 attendees turned out this morning for the DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) and Hall Render in-person discussion “Can Hospitals Actually Make Money in Value-Based Care?” at Scottish Rite for Children Hospital in Dallas.
Jim Burke, Principal Advisor, Strategic and Financial Consulting at Hall Render Advisory Services, served as the keynote speaker with DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love moderating the discussion.
Topics included:
- • Value-based care models;
• Reimbursement programs;
• Preventive care;
• Population health management;
• National trends.
Guests included representatives from Children’s Health, JPS Health Network, Prime Healthcare, Scottish Rite, Texas Health and UT Southwestern.
“This was our first in-person educational event in almost three years,” Love said. “We were thrilled by the turnout and participation. We would like to thank Hall Render for providing their expertise and Scottish Rite for allowing us the use of their facilities.”
