The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) and Forvis Mazars webinar “The One Big Beautiful Bill and the Future of Healthcare,” originally broadcast on August 14, has been posted online.

Speakers included Chad Mulvany, FHFMA, Director of Healthcare Consulting at Forvis Mazars; and Stephen Love, President/CEO of DFWHC.

The One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) is expected to make significant changes to healthcare, particularly affecting Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act (ACA). It includes provisions for cost containment, program integrity, and increased state flexibility. The bill could result in substantial cuts to Medicaid spending and a potential increase in the number of uninsured Americans. During the webinar, the speakers discussed what the OBBBA could mean for the future of healthcare in both the U.S. and Texas.
